Sharon Lee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT 53319), as well a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC 805). Sharon earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, and completed Sex Addiction Treatment training with Dr. Mary Anne Fifield. Sharon is currently a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).
Sharon brings compassion and sensitivity to areas of unmended relationships, grief, and complex trauma. She creates a safe space to explore traumatic experiences and the constellation of beliefs and behaviors that organize around them. She combines the Internal Family Systems model (IFS) with relaxation techniques to facilitate healing.
In addition to working with addicts, Sharon also has extensive experience supporting partners and has facilitated several Facing Heartbreak groups. In 2014, she was the featured lecturer for “What Every Parent Should Know About Porn” in Danville, CA. Sharon is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).
