Dan Drake is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC49986) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC327). He is also EMDR trained and uses his training and certifications in his work with sex addicts, their partners and families. In his passion to help people restore relational, mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wholeness to their lives, Dan strives to provide a safe environment where his clients can grow and heal.
He holds two masters degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary: an MS in Marital and Family Therapy and an MA in Theology. Dan has been certified by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and by the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) as a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS). In addition to his clinical work, he has lectured domestically and internationally. He is a professional member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH), a clinical member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), a member of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of CAMFT, a board member of APSATS, and a member of Men’s Association for Addiction Treatment (MAAT).
