Brooke Alderman, LMFT, holds a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#83936). She specializes in treating eating disorders, drug and alcohol addiction, sex addiction and obsessive compulsivity. Ms. Alderman practices from a post-modern approach informed by her familial experience with process addictions, and is trained in EMDR for trauma and addictions treatment. She has facilitated group therapy in mindfulness, substance abuse, eating disorders, sexual addiction, spirituality and primary process.
Ms. Alderman is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish. During graduate school she trained at PUC Schools, a consortium of Charter Schools in underserved areas of Los Angeles. She conducted over 500 hours of family therapy in Spanish and created an anti-bullying curriculum in both English and Spanish. She is a member of California Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT) as well as a lifetime member of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) and the National Association of Collegiate Scholars (NCSC).
